SED 420488-1 Universal Kill Switch Universal kill switch is made from stamped brass and injection molded nylon/delrin. Replace lanyard if worn, cut or frayed. Dual circuitry allows kill switch to be wired for either ignition kill or magneto kill depending on the application. WARNING: Test switch for proper function before each use. SED 420489-1 Lanyard only Magneto style, red cap Circuit is normally open (not complete) with cap in place on switch When lanyard is pulled, the circuit is closed, allowing grounding to a suitable ground such as the battery or a suitable area on the engine itself, therefore stalling the engine.
