The Picasso Tungsten Takedownis the cousin of the Tungsten Shakedown. The Takedown features a vertical line tie and is manufactured using Picasso’s proprietary technology to make the only one picece 97% tungsten head with a titanium nickel bait keeper. This process makes sure that the Takedown is more durable and more sensitive than any of the competition. The Picasso Tungsten Takedown is equipped with a 2X Strong Gamakatsu hook that has a wider gap than traditional shakyhead jigs to accomodate larger plastics and give you a better hook-up percentage as well as not bend out on even the largest fish. In addition, this jig head has a slightly larger diameter nickel titanium spring to hold whatever plastic that is threaded on better, allowing more fish to be caught per bait. The flexibility of the spring makes for easy rigging and ensure it will allows “spring” back to its original position, no more bending out springs that eventually leads to breakage. The smaller, tungsten jighead excels at coming through cover due to it’s smaller size. Painted with Picasso’s exclusive chip resistant Duraseal coating makes sure it will retain it’s color even after dragging it through the gnarliest of cover.
